Your List Building Activities Need To Be About People You Want To Help In Solving Their ProblemsIf you’ve read my blog or been coached by me, then we’ve discussed this before: All Of Your List Building Activities Need To Be About People You Want To Help In Solving Their Problems, Your Target Market Let’s start with you First Tactic: I have worked with business owners who have had hundreds of people on their lists, but never saw their list members take action. An action, in this case, would be just getting a targeted prospective client to go to their blog and opting in for a free report or their newsletter. – The only people you want on your list are your target market, your prospective clients. You do not want anyone else on your list. - For example, if you are a parenting coach who works with parents for teenagers, make sure that people on your list are parents of teenagers. - If you are a masseuse, who works with women in their 30s-50s, make sure that these are the people on your list.
Your list building activities are, and need to be, particularly significant. You can ask your perfect clients to your list, and then have a highly responsive list of people you want to work with. Or, you can invite everyone, and then you will not be getting much response from your subscribers. (Do you know who your target market is? You need to get some leadership in this area, before you even begin to market.) The money is in a large list of your targeted subscribers. These are the people you can help with your own special expertise. I coach others to put structure to marketing and their on-line presence. Helping to attune their processes and activities. Showing how to get results. If you’ve thought you might benefit from a business coach, wonder no more. I over deliver, with your success forefront.
