How to Boost Your List Through Article Marketing - Important Tips for Coaches

One of the things that you cannot afford to skip when selling coaching programs in the online arena is building your own list. As you don’t have a way to meet all your customers face-to-face, it’s important that you have a way to contact them. Getting their email addresses and phone numbers will do the trick. The question here is, how can you get them to share their contact information with you especially now that spam emails are on the rise? Well, the answer is to launch an aggressive list building campaign and boost it through article marketing. Here’s how you can make it happen:

1. Get your prospects to pay attention. The first step is to ensure that you’ll get your target audience to notice your articles. Well, doing this is relatively easy. I can guarantee you that these people will pay attention if you talk about new topics (forget about discussing the old ones and those that were repeatedly discussed by your competitors) and if you promise to offer them with useful information that they haven’t heard of before. Aside from that, you’ll also need to make use of attention-grabbing titles. Learn how to entice your readers by making your titles benefit-driven, descriptive, or thought-provoking.

2. The next step is to give your readers a reason to trust you. These people will not surely entrust their contact information with you if they’re not convinced that you’re a professional online coach. You see, these people are very careful when giving their email addresses to esellers because they hate to be spammed. So, give them valid reason to sign up to your list. You can do this by showcasing your expertise in your chosen field. Offer your readers with exclusive information and leave them wanting for more. Then, you can tell them at the end of each article that they’ll easily get additional, useful information right from their inbox by simply signing up to your newsletters.

3. Distribute your articles. Aside from posting your articles on your blog or website, you can also promote them on relevant forums, social media networks, and of course, on article directories. You will need to do this to ensure that your articles will get maximum exposure in the online arena.

4. Send traffic to your squeeze pages. Send interested parties to your squeeze pages before you grant them access to your blog or website. For best results, make the process of signing up as hassle-free as possible. Ask your prospects to give out just their name and their email address. These are enough to contact them in the future. Also, give these people a guarantee that you’re not going to spam them and that there’s no way that you’re going to share their name and contact information with other people. It will also help if you reward them with newsletters or free ebooks.
