List Building - How to Build a List From Zero to 10,000 Members in a Couple Months

When done the right way, online list building can be very fun and exciting but if you have no clue on what to do then list building can be very nerve raking. I remember when I started building my list; I was the worst when it came to list building. I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know where to start and I would do is try to sign up my friends family.

The only thing that I understood was in order to generate traffic and increase my list I needed a capture page. Even when I had a capture page I was still struggling with lead generation where I tried to buy leads which didn’t work out for me. I tried every shortcut that you could think of and all that did was waste my time and energy.

After failing with that I tried using AdSense with Google. It worked out pretty good because I was getting a small but steady flow of leads. But eventually it started to get expensive where all my visitors were not subscribing and purchasing. Throughout my internet marketing career there were two things that worked for me on a continuous basis which is article marketing and Joint Ventures.

With article marketing all I do is write and submit articles just like the one you’re reading now to article directories. The typical article writer writes about 5-10 articles per month and I write about 10-20 articles per day. In order to take full advantage of article marketing you have to work as hard as you possibly can. Now joint ventures are easier but in order to do it you need at least 1500-2000 subscribers in your list.

Basically all you do is ask other list builders if you can swap emails where you send your sales pitch to their list and they send their sales pitch to your list. When done correctly, this can be very powerful.
