Making Money With Autoresponders on Squeeze PagesIf you have a product or service that you are selling and you are trying to build a list, the combination of a squeeze page and email autoresponder is the perfect storm. This combo will give you a way to market a product or service, collect names and emails of interested clients and/or customers and then you can follow up with them using email updates. This marketing tactic is much better then sending online traffic directly to a sales page because it will allow you to follow up with them where as if they go directly to a sales page, they can just leave and never come back. This solution is perfect for paid advertising. This would include offline solutions like magazines and newspapers and online solutions like PPC (pay per click) and PPV (pay per view) advertising. If you are trying to use organic search traffic, you may want to get more social by using the combination of a blog and autoresponder. The front page of the blog will have a little different layout than the squeeze page but it will be the same general idea. You can put the capture form in the sidebar of the blog and at the bottom of any page or article. The search engines love content and a blog/website will be much better than a squeeze page if you’re using SEO and organic search to drive traffic to your website. So what are you selling? Your follow up messages should have related content to your product or service. If your selling Christmas trees, maybe you would want to include some interesting tips on decorations and maybe some other Christmas related things. This will allow you to add value to the messages so you are not annoying the client or customer. Remember, if you are not providing value, they will probably just unsubscribe to your list and that is what you can call a lost customer. A squeeze page and autoresponder is a great combination for use in offline and online marketing but you don’t always have to use that combination. Remember, different types of advertising calls for different combinations. A blog and autoresponder and even something like a Facebook fan page and an autoresponder can be just as valuable depending on the type of advertising and marketing you are doing.
