Opt-In List - Build It Via Article Marketing

The most steadfast way to get subscribers is by writing articles and including a link to your subscription registration (opt-in form) in the authors resource box.

This link may be the only one in the resource box or it could be another (your affiliate link to a product you are promoting, your website homepage, etc.) That depends what you are trying to accomplish as a result of publishing the article.

Don’t make the mistake of sending that to just any page on your site. You must send them directly to your more information page, where you explain in detail what your mailing list and/or newsletter is all about. This page will also include a form for registering to your mailing list/newsletter.

Keep in mind that to get maximum benefit from the articles, they must contain valuable, original content. Otherwise, web and ezine owners wont be interested in publishing them.

The other thing you’re shooting for is the respect and recognition from viewers. By including articles in your newsletter or on your own web pages, you are limiting yourself. If these same articles are exposed all over the internet world, you’ll get a much larger following of loyal readers.

Anyone who thoroughly enjoys your articles and recognizes the valuable information that you are providing will be more than willing to sign up as one of your regular subscribers. Quite truly, they will be hungry for what you now have to offer.

Article marketing is an extremely effective method to obtain mailing list members.

If you don’t feel that you can write the articles yourself, then you might investigate hiring someone to do it for you. There are many good writers found on sites like Elance.com, guru.com, iFreelance.com, oDesk.com, ScriptLance.com. Just make sure that the person you hire has good English skills.

However, you may find after further researching your topic, that article marketing will come to you naturally, as you seek to answer the questions of an audience that is unfamiliar with your topic.
